Radiation-resistant flexible drag chain cable (model: YJRT-Flex):

Manufacture of radiation resistant drag chain cable

1. Conductor structure

The cable should choose the most flexible conductor, such as bare copper or tinned copper. Generally speaking, the thinner the conductor, the better the flexibility of the cable; the appropriate conductor stranded structure and pitch are important factors to keep the conductor moving for a long time.

2. Core wire insulation

Cable insulation materials need to meet the requirements of radiation resistance while meeting the electrical performance. Our company uses highly flexible radiation-resistant insulation materials.

3. Cable

The cable structure must be wound around a stable tensile center with the best stranding pitch to achieve the requirement that the core wire does not shift when the cable is moving.

4. Shielding

The shielding layer is tightly braided in the inner layer of the sheath with optimized braiding angle and pitch. The loose braid will reduce the protection ability of EMC and the shielding layer will soon fail due to the fracture of the shielding. The tightly braided shielding layer has the effect of anti-torsion at the same time.

5. Sheath

The material with high flexibility, wear resistance, radiation resistance and high tensile strength is used as the sheath material to meet the requirements of drag chain and radiation resistance.

Precautions

Radiation resistant tow chain cable in the actual work must pay attention to the minimum bending radius of the cable, at the same time, the two points of the cable must be fixed, or at least in the motion end of the chain must be fixed, the general cable moving point from the end of the chain should be 20-30 times the diameter of the cable.
